Profile: (On The Cover) Against All Odds — Lisa Schomp set records for success in a male-dominated business
Lisa Schomp, owner and president of Schomp Automotive, began her career at her father’s business, Ralph Schomp Automotive, at the bottom rung of the ladder as a coffee greeter girl in 1972 and later worked in sales, parts and service. The Schomp dealership has led the Rocky Mountain region in Honda and BMW sales for several years. Schomp says, “I think I’ve proven that if you’re willing to watch, listen and use common sense, you’ll succeed.”
